If You are looking for a professional DJ for your special event or a certified Wedding DJ to help plan your dream night, YOU are in the right place. Whether your event is a social gala, corporate or private affair, it needs to be audible, energetic & fun.  Most importantly, it needs guidance and directive! Five Carat has spent years perfecting their skills in every setting possible. We are detail-oriented planners focused on personal service for each of our clients. 

As event coordinators we direct everything from an entertainment perspective. Essentially, we are “de-facto Entertainment Directors. We help design and coordinate the music and time-flow aspect of your event from start to finish.   

Aside from our online planning suite, we offer 24/7 availability and unlimited meetings and correspondence via zoom, or (locally) in-person to help you prepare and plan the perfect party.   

The best practice is at least 6 months before your event. However, We have performed for clients with less time pending and still provided a professional and fun experience. Check here to see if we are available for your date and let us help begin your party planning!

Yes. Reservations are taken on a first come first served basis and require a signed contract and a 50% (Non-refundable) retainer. Depending on the package (carats) you choose and the amenities (color) involved we are open to 1/3 of the retainer and payments scheduled forward to fulfill contract obligations before event time. 

We accept Checks, Cash, Paypal, Venmo, Cash-app, Credit Card & *Bitcoin.

*Credit Card payments subject to 2.9% fee

*Bitcoin only accepted as (50% Non-refundable retainer)

We are very transparent with our prices and feel that it is business professional to do so! We understand that your time is valuable and need to be able to make decisions based on your budget and requirements. You can find our prices for all 6 of our packages (carats) here. 

Your final payment is due 2 weeks prior to the date of your event. As a courtesy, we always send out reminders 2 weeks prior to the final payment to help you get your finances in order. 

Unfortunately, there is not a requirement in our industry for your Dj to provide insurance for your event. However, regardless of whether your venue or establishment requires it, we always carry no less than 1 million General liability business insurance. 

We have over 100,000 songs and counting covering all genre’s. Our massive audio & video library covers music from the 40’s thru today’s current hits. All of our music and video’s is clean and appropriate for any event type. If we do not have a song that you request, we are able to obtain it thru our record pool memberships, or by down loading it from itunes. 

While, all of our packages (carats), provide specific amenities based on your desires, We also provide individual options à la carte! If your package does not include these options, you can always add any up-lighting, monograms, or dance floor lighting to your existing services. 

Depending on the package and amenities that you pick, we like to have at the very least 2 hours for our set-up. Regardless, we are very punctual and always arrive 2 1/2 – 3 hrs beforehand. This allows us to travel safely to the venue without having to fight traffic, meet the venue staff and other vendors, and also to take our time once we arrive while we set-up and prepare our equipment. It also gives us ample amount of time to focus on, and add the extra special touches that are just as important to the aesthetics of your event! 

For our clients, there are NO re-do’s! Therefore, we understand exactly how important it is to make absolutely sure EVERYTHING we provide is top tier and in working order. Before and after every event we do, we take the time to test, clean and organize our equipment to maintain and ensure its longevity. In addition, because we know that anything is possible, we have contingency plans in place for any hiccups ahead of time. We come equipped with back-up laptops, sound, microphones, and dj equipment and always have them ready to go during your event!   

All we require from your venue are (2) 120 volt wall outlets on 2 separate circuits. And a 6-8 ft. table covered with linens that match the rest of your room’s decor. 

Upon signing your contract and settling your deposit, We go to work for you immediately! We understand that time is of the essence, and we are available 24/7 to help you start your planning process. We begin by setting-up your on-line planning suite and providing you with all the tools to help make your event a success. We also set-up a finalization meeting a month to 2 weeks out from your event date to make sure everything is perfect before your party or celebration!
